The Triple AAA & J Ranch has whitetail bucks that will rival any of the ranches in Texas. In fact, The Triple AAA & J Ranch was the only ranch to have entered four of the top 50 bucks in 2007 and three of the top 20 bucks in 2006 in the Los Cazadores deer contest.

In 1997, we started our program by game fencing the ranch and removing all of the native deer.  We then released 45 pregnant whitetail doe and 5 bucks from four different premier South Texas ranches and the results have been incredible.  It is common to see 20 or more bucks per day with as many as 5-10 being 150 class or better.  Along with the 38 free choice protein feeders and 19 free choice alfalfa feeders, we have 19 irrigated summer food plots to ensure that our deer have the nutrition necessary to maximize antler growth.

• In 2005, our first year, our 11 trophy bucks averaged 175 gross B&C.

• In 2006, hunters killed five trophy bucks and two more bucks died fighting.  The average gross score was 186.

• In 2007, we had several trophy deer die due to fighting, which limited our harvest to four trophy bucks.  Our average gross score was 198.

• We have superior quality genetics that produce outstanding trophy deer.
• Since we are in the managed land program, there is no limit on the number of deer you can shoot.
• We have one of the longest seasons in the country. The Triple AAA & J Ranch is in the managed land deer program and our season runs from approximately October 1 through February 28.
• We never have more than two hunters at one time unless you want to have your own group of up to three.
• All hunts are guided, one on one.
• Unlike some other parts of the country, you don’t have to worry about droughts - we irrigate food plots and our feed program ensures our deer always have the nutrition necessary to grow their best antlers every year.
